Funeral Service Announcement
Funeral service for Adam Alexander Mackey, age 77, a resident of Golden Gates II, Nassau Bahamas, will be held at 12:00 noon on Sunday March 22, 2026, at Good News Seventh-day Adventist Church, Great Britain Street, Flamingo Gardens. Officiating will be Pastor Dr. Henry Roger Moncur, assisted by other Elders of the Church. Interment will follow in Macedonia Church Cemetery, Bernard Road.
Left to cherish his fond and loving memories are his devoted wife of almost 50 years: Catherine; children: Arnold and Alvin Mackey, Athena Russell and Lolanda Mackey; 10 grandchildren: Shaquille, Aaliyah, Ajah, Armani, Arrianna, Alexandro and Lavardo Mackey, Malachi Russell, Jamario Dumont, Breon Smith; son-in-law: Vito Russell; sister: Shirley (Winslow) Moss; aunt: Brezetha Nixon; sisters-in-law: Elcine Mackey, Sylvia Mackey, Christine (Brazil) McDonald, Ruth (Robert) Lightbourne, Lorraine Joseph, Avis, Sharon, Brenda, Isabel and Myrtle Thompson; brothers-in-laws: Howard Thompson, Eldridge Sr. (Mavis) Thompson, Ricardo (Hazel) Thompson; numerous nieces including: Olive Mackey, Eleanor Cartwright, Stephanie Robinson, Janice (Waite) Ellis (of Ft.
