Obituary

Dwaine Clement Walkine was born on the October 2, 1947, in Nassau Bahamas. He was the fourth (4) of five (5). He grew up in the little quaint area of the valley called 'Rolle Avenue'.
Dwaine's early education began at Southern Prep School before moving into Southern Junior School.
Dwaine was affectionately called ' D or Big Man' he was loved by all he came into contact with. His strict personality did not take away from his humorous character. He was a hard worker and known as a jack of all trades.
In 1969, he met and fell in love with the apple of his eyes Agnes King. On August 21st, 1971 they were joined together in Holy Matrimony. This union was blessed with three (3) girls namely Annastasia, Monique and Dwainette. They love and adore their children.
His desire was to be a Heavy Equipment Operator; therefore, he began to pursue his training with McAlpine Company. His thirst to be an entrepreneur led him to start his own company 'D.Walkine Backhoe Service. After many years of operating heavy equipment he ventured into the concrete business with his good friend Mr. Terry Kemp at Premix Concrete.
In April 2013, Dwaine's health began to decline and he was later hospitalized at the Princess Margaret Hospital. In the early morning of July 28, 2013, Dwaine closed his eyes and went home to meet his maker. He was predeceased by his oldest sister Clementina 'Jimmy' Elandor.
