On January 29th, 1936, in Long Island, Bahamas, a baby boy was born to Otis and Evelyn Taylor (deceased). They named him Edward Ronald Taylor.
He grew up in Long Island, where he attended Buckley's All-Aged School. At an early age he began traveling and working. He received contracts in Miami, Florida and Ocean Cay as a heavy equipment operator. Later he was employed at Diamond Crystal in South Long Island. Edward retired shortly after to remain home with his family and take care of his farm.
Edward was diagnosed with prostate cancer a few years ago. He spent the remainder of his time farming and with his wife. Edward always believed and told his children that the Lord promised him what is written in Psalm 90 verse10,"The days of our years are three-score and ten..." He was a dedicated farmer and optimistic about life. Edward was an outspoken man who always voiced his opinions to others. He was extremely determined about life and lived it to the best of his ability.
After a long struggle, on June 29, 2010, he slipped quietly away at Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau.
