A TIME TO BORN....On October 26th, 1943 a joyous baby girl was born to the late James Maceo Sand and Cora Sears. They named their precious pearl Eloise Girlena Sands.
A TIME TO LEARN.... Eloise obtained her early childhood education at Southern Jr. High, and then she moved on to Eastern Sr. High.
A TIME TO SERVE.... As a youth she attended the St. Paul Baptist Church where her grandmother was one of the founding members of the St. Paul Baptist Church Senior Choir. According to Pastor Robert Colebrooke she was very quiet and polite, but very candid.
A TIME TO WORK.... Eloise started her work trade as a sales associate at the Royal Lime where she worked diligently for many years. Then she left for a better life in Freeport. She worked at The Kings Inn Hotel as a waitress until it closed down in the late 70's. Upon returning home she worked as a house cleaner for the late Barber Fisher's family for many years even up to her departure to the Master's call.
A TIME TO DIE.... It was early on February 18th, 2013 on a gloomy morning when Eloise felt that she could no longer bear the pain and she admitted herself to The Princess Margaret Hospital where she fought tremendously for a week before she slipped away into the arms of the Lord.
