In the picturesque settlement of Bottle Creek, Turks Island, December 3rd 1916, Elvados and Susan Williams welcomed the birth of their sixth child. This infant was given the name Esther Louise Ten of which predeceased her.
A TIME TO LEARN... At the all age school on the settlement she excelled in the formal education provided.
A TIME TO LOVE.... As she matured to womanhood, she was wooed by. Hugh Alexander Henfield, and united in holy matrimony February 1937. To this union six children were born: three of which predeceased her.
Desiring a change of environment and a high prospect for a brighter future: in 1940 the family migrated to Pine Ridge Grand Bahama, with the recruiting team sponsored by Owens Illinois Lumber Company. Due to the death of her husband she moved to New Providence and was subsequently employed as a Janitress with the Ministry of Education, a post she held for thirty five years.
TIME TO DIE... Ill health continue to take it's toll untill she became unable to properly care for herself: due to the illness of her older daughter to assist her, Mary Deleveaux the younger daughter took her to Freeport where she was comfortably cared for, Esal as affectionately called live to experience God blessings of four score and sixteen years. Then in God perfect time June 14th 2012, she pass from time into eternity.
