On April 2nd, 1922, the settlement of Lower Bogue, Eleuthera welcomed the birth of a precious son to the late Caroline McKenzie & Ezekiel Cash. He was given the name Ezekiel Cash Jr.
Zeke, as he was affectionately called, was brought up by his grandmother Rhoda McKenzie (deceased). Zeke was the youngest of eight children.
This fine young gentleman had the privilege of attending the Lower Bogue All Age School.
Zeke was a competent and highly skilled worker. He first started the work force in Florida where he stayed for numerous years. When he came back home to Eleuthera, he became a farmer, which he up to the time of his passing.
Shortly after returning home, he met, fell in love with and later married the love of his life, Vera Grant-Cash.
From this union came two (2) daughters, Carolyn and Mureka.
On Thursday, February 26th, 2015, Zeke answered God's call to come home and rest.
