Obituary

A TIME TO BE BORN....To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven, a time to be born. On April 3rd, 1927 in the beautiful settlement of Little Creek South Andros, a handsome baby boy was born to the proud parents of Joseph and Rosanna Johnson (both deceased), they named him George Albury.

A TIME FOR EDUCATION.... 'Boy' as he was affectionately called by friends and family received his early education at the Pleasant Bay All Age School.

A TIME TO WORK.... He began his career as a school teacher, after which he joined the British Legion where he served for a short period. Being ambitious he worked the contract.

A TIME TO LOVE.... In 1951 while on the Contract he met and fell in love with the most beautiful lady Theresa. This love blossom and on July 9th 1952 they were united in holy matrimony. To better provide for his family he sought employment in Freeport, Grand Bahama for a short period before becoming a fisherman until the time of his retirement. 'Boy' committed his life to the service of Christ and served as a Cathecist in the Roman Catholic Church for over 50 years.

A TIME TO DIE..... After a short illness on August 25th, 2012 he passed from labor to reward.
