On Thursday, 5th of May 1955 a bouncing baby boy was born to Alice Rebecca and William Minns. They named him George Alexander.
His education began at Eastern Prep., before moving to Exuma around the age of nine. He then went on to attend Rokers Point all Age School. Upon his return to Nassau, he continued at Eastern Junior, then on to Pyfrom Secondary School.
"Trip" as he was affectionately called, worked as a carpenter. He was also well known as a "Jack of all Trades."
Exuma Waste Management was his last place of employment, from 2009 until his demise.
Trip returned to Nassau, 29th May, 2015 seeking medical attention. After receiving his diagnosis on 29th July, he was discharged. The following day between the hours of 1:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., George slipped quietly away at his sister's home.
