Memories grow more special still When love ones have past And remain forever blooming In the Garden of the Heart.
It was a happy day in Nicholls Town Andros when the good news that 10th December 1945, God had blessed the late George and Isadora Rolle with a bouncing baby boy. They named him George Franklyn Rolle Jr.
George was schooled at the Nicholls Town Public School growing into a nice young man. He later went to work at Bird Cay Berry Island. After a few years he returned to his home in Nicholls Town. In 1976 George went to work at the Water and Sewerage Corporation. George retired as Senior Operator in 2005.
He became ill on the 20th March and went to Nassau to check on his health. On Friday 30th March 2012 God saw that he was getting tired and a cure was not to be so He put his arms around him and whispered come home to Me. With a tearful eye we saw you pass away. Although we love you dearly we know we could not make you stay.
Big George as he was called by everyone was a loving caring Giving friend who stretch his hand to the poor and needy. A loving farther, Brother Uncle and friend. He always would sing Jesus is the sweetest name i know. Friendship is like a priceless gift that cannot be bought or sold. But it's value is far greater than a mountain made of Gold.
