Godfrey Michael Roberts passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 31 ^st ,  2019,  at A&A Home for the Aged, Pinewood Gardens. He was born September 10 ^th , 1940, in Nassau Bahamas to Beatrice Deveaux and Howard Roberts.

He attended St. Augustine's All Boys School. He was an independent carpenter, which allowed him to make a name for himself.

Godfrey truly lived a simple and quiet life. He is survived by his children: Laverne (Stanley) Turnquest, Allison Heastie, Marvin, Jasmine, Andre and other children; grandchildren : Lavette (Frantz) Ilfrard, Nathan Turnquest, Aaliyah Mcsweeney and Latia Heastie. Step-sister: Florene Crawley (deceased) nieces, cousins and other family and friends,
