Funeral Service Announcement
Funeral service for Retired Nursing Officer Jacqueline Louise Thompson, age 87, a resident of #32 Spoonbill Street, Nassau East North, Nassau Bahamas, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday December 20, 2025, at Epiphany Anglican Church, Prince Charles Drive. Officiating will be Reverend Canon Atma Budhu, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
She is survived by daughters: Bridgette Scavella, Allyson (James) Moss and Chantal (Philip) Williams; grandchildren: Vonya Rahming, Cletis (Shanea) and Kiandro Scavella, Dr. Jamia (Theophilus) and James Moss Jr., Eden, Shiloh and Sienna Williams; great grandchild: Celine Scavella; adopted sister: Irma Davis of Harbour Island; nieces: Jemma Smith, Wendy Pinder, Ericka Colebrooke, Verna-Lisa Munroe, Tracy Mills, Sheta Davis, Deborah Rahming, Andrea Cox, Michelle Mott; nephews: Philip Simon, Jeffrey Wilkinson, Ricardo McQueen, Clyde and Rico Bullard, Neil and Ron Davis; brother-in-law: Joel (Gloria) Thompson; sisters-in-law: Genevieve Scavella and Geneva Thompson; nieces-in-law: Marsha Richardson, Michelle Mortimer, W. Nadine Harvey, Fern Sands (RBPF), Daphane Arthur, Bethsheba Sands, Dale Thompson, Karen Thompson, Yolanda Miller (USA); nephews-in-law: Randolph Sands, Reverend Brian Sands, Defence Force Chief Petty Officer Theodore Thompson, Kirk Thompson, Demetrius Scavella; cousins: Gloria and Ted Thompson, Michael Archer, Donna Roberts; other friends and relatives including: The congregation of the Anglican Church of Epiphany, Reverend Canon Budhu, Reverend Canon Delano Archer, The Usher Board, Paul and Patricia Peterson, Virginia Bullard, Leticia Curry and Family, Emil and Shirley Saunders, Ida Rose and Family, Wilton and Marion Strachan, The Strachan family, The Scavellas Family, James and Cynthia Moss, James Williams and family, Nurse Johnson and Nursing staff of Elizabeth Estates Clinic, Dr. Francis Williams, Dr. M. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads on Friday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and at the Church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
