"LORD, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered--how fleeting my life is"(psalms39:4)
Tuesday April 10th 1974 was no ordinary day in the life of Rosezena Douglas and Raymond Miller because this was the day on which their first child, a son entered their lives. They named him Jason Jeronamo Miller.
Jason's childhood years started like that of many in the neighborhood by attending Naomi Blatch Primary School, later moving to Uriah McPhee Primary School. He later went on to attend S.C.McPherson Junior High graduating from A.F.Adderley Sr. High School.
With High School completed, it was time for Jason to face the real world and all of the challenges that came with it. He enjoyed working with his hands and as such set out on a quest to find something that was not just a job but a job that he would enjoy doing and look forwards to going. He worked on numerous jobs where he did Plumbing and Carpentry, with his last job being masonry.
Jason was known to be a quiet, mannerly, loving and easy going young man. He was very unassuming individual, who did not find it difficult trusting people. He had so many friends and spent endless hours with them especially in his old childhood territory of John Road. He was a loving and caring father to his little son De'vonte who predeceased him.
Many evenings he would be seen going to visit his father before he retired for the evening and even trying his hands at welding.
On Friday April 27th 2012, his life was snatched away but we comforted in knowing that "God is in control of every situation" and in his time he makes all things beautiful.
