Funeral Service Announcement

Funeral service for Dr. Linda Moxey-Brown, age 70, a resident of Orlando Florida and formerly of Duncan Town Ragged Island, Bahamas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Wulff and Baillou Hill Roads, New Providence Bahamas. Officiating will be Fr. Roderick Bain, assisted by Archdeacon Dwight Rolle. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

Linda was predeceased by her parents Capt. Hezron Sr. and Elva Moxey; brothers: Hezron Jr., Troy and Lamont Moxey; sisters: Grace Moxey-Simms and Florrie Knowles.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her husband: Elbert Danny Brown II; daughter: Paulette Brown; sons: Lorenz Moxey-Curtis and Daniel Brown; grandchildren: Lennicia, Zion, Ysa and Lorenze; brothers: Paul (Melanie), Capt. Andy, Capt. Dave, Capt. Lynden (Anita), Capt. Gerad (Tiffany) and Capt. Leander Moxey, Kenneth Smith (Cheryl) and Edgar Styles (Denise); sisters: Hyacinth Clarke (Frederick), Casilda Moxey-McPhee, Portia and Rebecca Moxey, Earnestine Moxey-Currie and Mavis Collie (Sidney); bonus sons: Mario Major, Danny Brown III and family, and Terry Brown and family; bonus daughters: A. Patrice Fernander and family, Sirell Rolle and family, Krystal Brown and family, Kelli Moxey and family; special family: Ronnie Joquin, Lawanna Adorno and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
