Funeral Service Announcement

Funeral service for Neil Nicholas Major, age 51, a resident of #79 Australia Avenue, Elizabeth Estates, Nassau Bahamas and formerly of Deadman's Cay, Long Island Bahamas, will be held at 10:00a.m. on (NEXT) Thursday February 12, 2026, at The Holy Spirit Anglican Church, Howard Street, Chippingham. Officiating will be Reverend Harry Bain, assisted by Reverend Eric A. A. Miller. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive.

Neil's favorite quote from Act of Valor "When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes, they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and be like a hero, going home."

His legacy lives in the hearts of all who knew him.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads on (NEXT) Wednesday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and at the Church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
