Funeral Service Announcement

Funeral service for Pastor John Ralph Hanna, age 82, a resident of East Street South, New Providence Bahamas and formerly of Spring Point, Acklins, Bahamas, w ill be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday May 13, 2026, at Cedar Crest Funeral Home Chapel, Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads. Officiating will be Pastor Wade Forbes. Cremation will follow.

Pastor John was predeceased by his Nieces: Derah and Diann.

He is survived by his Wife: Eunice Hanna; Daughter: Mazette Hanna-Lockhart; Stepchildren: Clinton Forbes, Alldrea Strachan, Demetrea Knowles, Lynn Gibson, Odessa Gibson, Sudia Munroe-Henry; Grandchildren: Vernisha Moss, Mazio Randall, Jordan, Randi Blue, Xavier, Noah Hanna, Ashaki, Strachan, Clinton Forbes Jr., Ishmiah Strachan, Jeroen Saunders, Jared Saunders, Marquez Williams, Andrice Jones, Akiah Strachan, J'nell Dean, Anaan Rahming, Lex Gibson, Kylah Knowles; 14 Great-grandchildren including: Kadience Hanna; Nieces: Shammond Hanna, Tabitha Hanna, Patricia Hanna ; Nephew: Barry Thompson; 4 Grandnieces, 3 Grandnephews, 3 Great-grandnieces, 3 Grandnephews 2 Grandnieces-in-law, 2 Grandnephews-in-law, Cousin: Daisy Hanna; Other relatives including: Iona Hanna, Rochelle Burrage, Tedana McKenzie, Shanrose Thompson, Nicole Finlayson, George Hanna and a host of other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads on Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and at the Chapel on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
