Paul was predeceased by his father Charles Ramsey, adopted mother Verdale  , his two son Randy and Humphrey his three brothers Jackson, Norris and Davis Ramsey. His maternal grand mother affectionately called MA Bay.

Leaving behind to cherish is life and precious memories  are his wife: Mary Moultrie-Ramsey; sons: Paul Jr, Chad and Rento (Kelfene) Ramsey and Oleciano Ramsey; daughter: Tamara Ramsey and Berrinique Rahming, Kanisha and Kristin Rolle; grand-children: Kerdesha, Tattianna, Renta & Rento Jr., Shakeem, Sherwood and Sherback; brothers: Fred (Florence) Ramsey, Anthony, "Tony" Brown and Patrick "Carls" Jackson; sisters: Bernadette (Leo) Johnson, Laverne (Ralph) Burrows, Karen "Bunny" Archer, Ericka Jackman-Glinton and Donica Jackman; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends including; Evangelist Andrew Major, Hubert Rolle, Carlton Bodie,  David and Charles Adderley Mr. & Mrs. Derrington Rahming, Billy Gilbert, John Woodside, Janice and Family, The Hanna Family, The Central Church of Christ Family, Nurse Maycock and the staff of the Dialysis, Unit, the staff of the Male Surgical Ward, and the entire Princess Margaret Hospital Family.
