On August 27th, 2000, a baby boy was born prematurely to Rochelle and Rickey, he was

named Rickeno Howard Miller. Due to his low birth weight, he was kept in Special Care Unit for a month, being released was the happiest day in the lives of his family members. As months went on, it came to the realization that he was not developing as he should. As a result he was taken back to doctors and diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. With further deliberation of all his illness it was con-cluded that he was Globally Developmental Delays. Later down in the years he developed Scoliosis and attended a numerous doctors to try to correct this deformity. Despite his disabilities, Rickeno was well loved and cared for by his family, He attend school and church weekly.

Rickeno attended Head Start Christian Academy for a few months, Kids Under- Construction and Bahamas Association for the Phys-ically Disabled.

On Sunday June 7th, 2015, he had a high fever, his mother sponged him down with cold water and gave him some medicine. On Mon-day the 8th of June, he woke up around 6:30am, still with a very high fever and his mother took him to South Beach Clinic where he met his demise.
