Obituary

On February 17th, 1950 a baby boy was Born to Naomi Babbs and Albert Rox (both predeceased). They named him Roscoe Sandford. He was affectionately called Coe, Coey, uncle Coe and Rox.

During his formative years he attended the Shirley Primary, Eastern Junior and Senior High Schools.

Roscoe worked as an Electrician. He was employed at Taylor's Industries and Standard Services. He later became self-employed. His many jobs took him to several family islands including Exuma, Grand Bahama, San Salvador, Eleuthera, Andros to name a few.

In 2007, he was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease. He had to be dialyzed three (3) times a week. Through it all he remained optimistic. He was always smiling and encouraging.

Roscoe became an active member in God's Temple of Praise. He was faithful in his attendance at the Sunday evening services. It was during this time he gave his life to the Lord and was baptized in 2009.

On Wednesday, October 31st, Roscoe was admitted to hospital after suffering a massive stroke and Saturday, November 3rd, he slipped away into eternity.
