Obituary

Funeral service for Sarah Eliza Bridgewater age 83 years a resident of Adelaide, formally of Duncan Town, Ragged Island will be held at 10:00a.m.on Saturday, June 19th 2010 at Bethel Baptist Church, Meeting Street. Officiating will be Bishop Joseph Zonicle assisted by Evangelist Clinton Minnis and other Ministers. Interment will be made in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F Kennedy Drive.

Left with cherish memories are her husband Harold Bridgewater, Four Daughters Merlene Dames, Frederica Schult (of Germany), Nicola Hanna, and Trancinell Bridgewater. Three Sons Hermon Munroe, Harold Bridgewater Jr., and Frederick Bridgewater CPO, Royal Bahamas Defense Force. One Step Daughter Priscilla Johnson. Her Twin Sister Harriet Munroe, Three daughters in Law Marcia Munroe, Patricia and Dianne Bridgewater. Three sons in Law Denver Dames, Emile Schult of Germany, and Martin Hanna. Grand daughters Jaunita Gardiner, Zanovia Dames- Ferguson. Chantelle Colebrook, Jody Munroe, Indira Collie, Kiva Bridgewater, Cristal and Ava Schult (of Germany), Cherika Hanna-Cooper, and Soraya Hanna, Latera, Shantol, Fredrica, Sarah, and Sasha Bridgewater Grandsons Carlos and Delano Dames, Kharis, Amahl, and Keiron Munroe, Dr. Kiko Bridgewater and Marnico Hanna. Nineteen Great- Grand Children; Grand daughters in law Cindy Dames and Latisha Munroe, Grand Sons in Law Robert Gardiner, Andy Ferguson, Newyen Colebrooke, Tito Collie, Bertram Cooper. Sisters in law Evelyn and Verva Wallace, Iva Wilson, Inez Williams and Willamae Bridgewater, One Brother in law Roland Bridgewater. Nieces Louisa Richardson, Beryl Mortimer, Oralee Lampkin, Marileta Bethel, Dorothy Strachan, Lorna Major, Victoria Wright, Mildred, Margo, Beryl, Gloria, Sadiemae Wallace, Ann and Eunice Wallace, Delmeta Seymour, Hilda Ferguson, Pamela Johnson, Vernice Albury, and Sheralee Munroe. Nephews DeGlandville Panza, Cecil, Bursil, Winston, Perry, Maurice, Frederick, Calvin, John, Percy, and Lester Wallace, Michael, Ernal, Wilmore, Ralph, and Lyndon Munroe. Other relatives and friends including childhood playmate Louise Curling, other friends including Ada Munroe, Neta Lockhart, former neighbors Sarah Gardiner and Harriet Kelly, the Ebenezer and Providence Baptist Church families, and the entire Ragged Island Community, along with a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home, Robinson Road and First Street on Friday from 12:00 noon to 6:00p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 8:30a.m. until service time.
