On January 9th 1991 a "gentle giant", Teran Antoine Greenslade, made his arrival into the world. He was born in Nassau, New Providence and was nurtured by his parents, Juanita and Robert Gardiner. He attended the C.W. Sawyer Primary, A.F. Adderley Junior and Government High schools.
Throughout his lifetime, he was a team player taking pleasure in working with his hands. He was a part of a number of basketball teams, a member of The Prodigal Sons Junkanoo Group and an invaluable team member at Atlantis where he was making his presence felt.
Teran was an ambitious, industrious and helpful person. He worked along with his parents assisting them with their businesses and learned how to be a productive individual early in life. He took the same diligent spirit into his work life at Atlantis and was very passionate about working in the hospitality industry.
Teran began his career at Atlantis in the Room Service Department where he demonstrated a cooperative, energetic and positive attitude. As a result of his attitude of excellence in service; he later received a position in the Bahamian Club where he took pride in performing his duties and continued to display his impeccable work ethics.
While outwardly quiet, Teran was a strong young man who radiated kindness and found great joy in making the people around him happy. He maintained an optimistic perspective through any challenge he faced and created an atmosphere of contentment that put others at ease.
He was excited about life and planned for a bright future in the hospitality industry before meeting his untimely demise on December 1, 2014. We celebrate his wonderful spirit, joy and talents.
