Obituary

On the twenty third of May A.D. 1959 a handsome baby boy was born to Patricia Matina Baker and Bertram Flowers Jr. at the Princess Margaret Hospital, St. Matthews Parish Nassau, New Providence. He was given the name Tyrone Howard, Tyrone resided a few years in the Mason Addition area of Fort Fincastle after his birth, but was soon whisked away to Drigg's Hill, South Andros by his grandmother, Nathalee Flowers (deceased). He was well loved and protected by the whole community of Drigg's Hill, South Andros.

He spent his early educational years at the All Age School at Drigg's Hill, South Andros. He later moved to Freeport where he was employed at the Xanadu Beach Hotel as a Room Service Waiter. In 1978, he went to Florida to attend Broward Community College. While attending Broward, he was diagnosed with a genetic disease called schizophrenia, which ultimately ended his college career. Tyrone loved reading and being to himself.

On Friday morning on the 2nd day of May A.D. 2014 our dear brother passed to time and eternity. He completed his earthly pilgrimage where he started. He was born on the 23rd of May, A.d. 1959 at the Princess Margaret Hospital and died on the 2nd May, A.D. 2014 at the Princess Margaret Hospital. Sleep on dear brother, your rest is well deserved. Rest in Peace.
