Tyrus was predeceased by his Mother , Edna Mae Porter-Johnson.

Left to cherish his memories are his; Father: Joseph Xavier Johnson; Uncle: Roosevelt Porter; Sisters: Marina, Sherry (Van Johnson), Tametka, Lorna (Hendrick McIntosh), Paulyn (Leonardo Rahming), Cushionly, Simslee (Troy Saunders), Darlene, Charmaine (Edmond Symonette), Deborah, Garnell (Anville Sargent), Melonie and Katrinka; Brothers : Wellington (Lucy Farrington), Kevin , Christopher, (Tameka Johnson), Prince (Marzena), Carrington (AriastaciaJohnson), Reginald, Maxwell; 17 nieces, 12 nephews, 4 grand nieces,  grand-nephew , and a host of other relatives and friends including the entire community of Smith's  Hill, South Andros, The New Macedonia Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Kemps Bay Seventh Day Adventist Church.
