Nelson & Mirlanda Dames basked in delight upon the birth of their angel 'Ulric James Dames'.
On September 23rd, 1999, Ulric embarked on his journey to commence his angelic duties.
Full of zeal, Ulric left a mark on everyone he came in contact with. Humility, Generosity,
Soft-Spoken, and Grace were some of the very few traits 'Ulric' possessed, therefore he
was highly favored by his family members & friends.
Aware of his intent, 'Ulric' (sometimes called "Ule") delighted himself with assisting others.
His possession of a 'sweet-spirit' at such a young age, resulted in abduction of the hearts
of everyone he met.
His Family & Neighborhood Friend's weren't the only one's subjected to his indigenous
personality, but it was exploited at 'G'Nae's Eaglets Preschool' in his early years and at
'Oakesfield Primary School' in his early adolescence. But unfortunately his transition to
'H.O. Nash Junior High School' was abolished. Ulric loved animals and when his sisters
would watch cartoons, Ulric would watch the National Geographic channel.
He loved his mother and would assist her in all her duties. He was most protective of
his sisters. E.J. was not only his cousin but his best friend they talked about everything.
Their last conversion lasted for 1 and a half hours. Ulric was a banker and always had
monies tucked away for hard times. He was a little man in a little boy's body. He was
an excellent student and his teachers were delighted to have him in their class. He was
looking forward to being a part of the H.O. Nash family but God saw the bigger picture
and decided that he needed this angel, this beautiful bud into his garden of love.
On Saturday, 18th August after telling Nelson how much he loved him, Ulric and his
sisters were playing when Patrice thought he was playing sleep. She tried calling him,
but he would not answer then she called for their mother. Ulric heard her call but he
heard a greater call, the voice of the Master, and he answered the call. Today he is with
the Lord.
