Funeral Service Announcement

Funeral service for Uneskia Ann Ward, age 64, a resident of #12 Major Subdivision, Collins Avenue, Nassau Bahamas and formerly of West End Grand Bahama, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday January 10, 2026, at Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church, Faith Avenue and Pastel Gardens. Officiating will be Pastor Arthur H. Charlton Jr., assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment will follow the in Southern Cemetery, Spikenard and Cowpen Roads.

She is survived by her husband: Harold Kendall Ward; sons: Andre and Christian Ward, Omar Morley, Mario and Tex Taylor; daughters: Shanique Ward, Kendalyn Ward, Latisha Taylor; grandchildren: Aaron Bowe, Erin Bowe, Aaronique Chin, Michael Chin, Breanna Chin, Mikayla Chin; 3 great grandchildren, brother: Tony Smith; sister: Helen Miller and Charmaine Milford; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Baillou Hill Roads on Friday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
