Winston Patrick Sands was born on March 1st, 1932 to the late Meriel Saunders, in the quaint settlement of Clarence Town, Long Island.
He spent most of his early life there. "Buddy" as he was affectionately called, was well loved by his family, he lived a quiet life and was a role model for young men, He was a very private person.
At a very young age he gained employment with Batelco. This was his only job. He was so devoted to his job that he hardly took a vacation.
He slipped away quietly as he lived.
